Elite Earthmovers Ltd was subcontracted by IVRCL Limited for the canal excavation and dyke work in the Bura Irrigation and Settlement Scheme Rehabilitation Project. This large-scale project, valued at KES 1,250,000,000, was aimed at improving water distribution and flood control to support agricultural activities and settlement infrastructure in the Bura region. The project was successfully completed between 2015 and 2017.

Scope of Work:

1. Canal Excavation:Excavation of canals to improve water flow and distribution throughout the irrigation scheme.

2. Dyke Construction:Construction of protective dykes to prevent water overflow and flooding, ensuring the integrity of the irrigation system.

3. Site Preparation:Grading and leveling of the site to ensure optimal water management and stability of the canal and dyke structures.

4. Environmental Management:Implementation of environmental safeguards to protect the ecosystem and ensure sustainable water management practices.
